Wiki 101

A Wiki is a collaborative workspace which encourages all users to participate by creating and edit pages.

Editing guidelines

• Basic MediaWiki Syntax can be found here
• If unsure about how to edit a page, or to familiarize yourself with the wiki markup, use the Sandbox
• Try not to create orphaned or unlinked pages. At the very least, put new entries into one or more of the categories with the syntax: [[Category:name]] for example:

  [[Category:Documentation]] [[Category:Snippets]]

  Will add the page to the Documentation and Snippets category.
• If you see any typos or grammatical mistakes in pages, please edit it.

MODx is GPL software freely available to everyone. The Developers and community of MODx donate their time and effort to this project. Try the following when looking for help.

Look at the documentation

The Documentation Covers a broad range of installation and technical MODx questions.

Search the forums

The forums Contain a huge amount of useful information.

Search the wiki

Use the search box on the left.
